While its sibling piece embraced a bold, high-gloss crimson paint, this iteration honours the raw beauty of the past. The original broken structure was completely stabilised and stripped back to reveal the rich, warm natural wood grains of its circular seat collar and elegantly carved legs. To contrast the earthy tones of the timber, the fixed seat is upholstered in a lush, vibrant cotton textile bursting with a multicoloured botanical and fruit motif. It is an unhurried, thoughtful piece of circular design meant to bring organic colour and a piece of history into the modern home.
