The Khazana Throne:

An eco-brutalist masterpiece hiding an internal treasure trove of upcycled materials. True to its name, the Khazana Throne is a highly sculptural statement chair that traps non-recyclable waste inside a striking, artistic form.

The design presents an incredible contrast of textures and colors. The rectangular backrest, finished in a raw, stone-like paper mache paste, hides a cardboard gift box stuffed with non-recyclable plastic scrap. It is anchored to a beautifully contoured salvaged wood seat by three sleek metal rods. Below, the pedestal base utilizes an empty Fevicol bucket that is densely packed with plastic waste destined for the landfill, layered with paper mache pulp and hand-painted in a fiery, vibrant color gradient. The entire sculptural throne is grounded by a heavy, solid teak wood base.
